There's no place like home for The Virgin Valley Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Democracy Prep Agassi Campus 33-18 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Virgin Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Gunner Cortez was his usual excellent self, throwing for 329 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Kurt Felix was another key contributor, picking up 151 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Virgin Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Democracy Prep Agassi Campus, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Virgin Valley will face off against Sports Leadership & Management at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd. One thing working in Sports Leadership & Management's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last seven matchups. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
