Recap: Greens Farms Academy Dragons vs. Suffield Academy Tigers
The Greens Farms Academy Dragons were the 56-37 winner over the Suffield Academy Tigers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Greens Farms Academy took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Suffield Academy on Wednesday.
Greens Farms Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being London Powell, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryley Tate-Padian, who scored 11 points.
Greens Farms Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Suffield Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greens Farms Academy will take on Greenwich Country Day at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Suffield Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holy Child at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
