Softball Recap: Hope Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Hope and Shea, and Shea kept the tradition alive. The Blue Wave fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 17-16 on Tuesday. The Blue Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Hope's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Shea, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hope is set to challenge their familiar foe Rogers at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shea will face off against rival Davies Career & Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
