Baseball Recap: Trinity-Pawling School Comes Up Short

Millbrook School hit Trinity-Pawling School with a four-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pride lost 7-1 to the Mustangs. The Pride have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity-Pawling School saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayvian Vazquez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Vazquez has snagged this season.

Trinity-Pawling School's record is now 5-8. As for Millbrook School, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Trinity-Pawling School will take on Kent School at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Millbrook School, they will challenge Canterbury School at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Saints' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
