Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delaware Valley). They put the hurt on the Gill St. Bernard's Knights with a sharp 18-7 victory on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Delaware Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Gill St. Bernard's, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Delaware Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-5 win against Manville on the 25th. As for Gill St. Bernard's, they will face off against Rutgers Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Argonauts' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
