Football Preview: St. Margaret's Tartans vs. Dana Hills Dolphins

St. Margaret has played every game this season on their home field, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will venture away from home to take on the Dana Hills Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. Margaret's is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 28-21 victory over Capistrano Valley Christian on Friday.

A big part of St. Margaret's win came down to the chemistry between Kai Letcher and his top target Jack Kleinhanzl. Letcher threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt while Kleinhanzl picked up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Kleinhanzl showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 57 yards.

Meanwhile, Dana Hills put another one in the bag last Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 40-34 W over Esperanza.

Dana Hills got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Radley Geiss out in front who rushed for 105 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 43 receiving yards. Geiss' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another receiver making a difference was James Leicester, who picked up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The win got St. Margaret's back to even at 2-2. As for Dana Hills, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
