EAGLEVILLE, Tenn. -
Eagleville (Tenn.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat
Moore County (Lynchburg, Tenn.), 35-7, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Chris Hale touchdown run in the second quarter, the Eagles led 20-7 at the half.
Eagleville expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. EHS's lone score in the quarter came on a kick return touchdown by
Aj Garza.
With the win the Eagles extended their winning streak to five games. Eagleville defeated Middle Tennessee Christian 32-8 last week.
Moore County's only touchdown came on a 29-yard run in the first quarter.
Eagleville had given up an average of 9.9 points prior to the contest.
EHS (8-1) will play an A District 9 game against Community next week. The Vikings enter the contest having posted a 2-6.
