Eastern has gone a perfect 8-0 against West Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Eastern put up the most runs they have all season on Friday. They blew past Manchester 16-7. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.
Averi Tabor made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Arey, who fired off four doubles, three runs, and two RBI while going 4-for-5. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Breeanna Jimison, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Eastern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manchester only posted a batting average of .276.
Meanwhile, West Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-11 to Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington.
Eastern's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for West Union, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Everything went Eastern's way against West Union when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Eastern made off with an 11-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
