Football Preview: Lubbock-Cooper Pirates vs. Plainview Bulldogs
Lubbock-Cooper is a perfect 6-0 against Plainview since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pirates will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,046 yards in their previous games.
Lubbock-Cooper hadn't beaten Frenship on the road since September 9, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Pirates made off with a 57-56 victory over the Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

It was another big night for Ryan Rodriguez Jr, who threw for 483 yards and five TDs. Those 483 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Chamayne Johnson Jr was in the mix too, providing Lubbock-Cooper with four touchdowns.
