Softball Recap: West Jessamine Colts vs. Pulaski County Maroons
West Jessamine hadn't done well against Pulaski County recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Colts blew past the Maroons 13-6. With that win, the Colts brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Michaela Tate made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Tate was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
