Royal is 1-8 against Agoura since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Highlanders are taking a road trip to square off against the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Royal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.

Royal saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 50-41 win over Calvary Baptist.

Lucas Markand produced another solid performance almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. What's more, he posted three steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Aaden Arteaga was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Agoura posted their closest victory since January 31st on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past El Camino Real 46-43. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won three in a row.

Agoura's win came from a few key players Royal will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lincoln Skope, who put up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Derek Crabtree, who had 11 points and eight boards.

Agoura's record now sits at 2-5. As for Royal, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Royal has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Agoura struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

Royal couldn't quite get it done against Agoura in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 76-65. Thankfully for the Highlanders, Ethan Klopp (who went 9-for-17 to rack up 25 points and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
