Monroe extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 5-0. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Everett Seagulls. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Seagulls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

As for Everett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since November 4, 2024.

Despite the loss, Everett still got an impressive performance from Jammy Thomas, who had 11 digs and two assists. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Monroe is set to face off against their familiar foe Snohomish at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Everett will challenge rival Shorewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
