Volleyball Recap: Tatum Smith's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Forney over Royse City

Forney managed to slip by Royse City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jackrabbits came up short against the Bulldogs on Friday, falling 3-0. The Jackrabbits' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Forney was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-14.

Forney's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tatum Smith, who had 17 digs and four assists. Smith has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.
