Liberty Center had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-27 victory over the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals.

Despite the defeat, Cardinal Stritch saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amaya Hill posted 12 points and six rebounds.

Liberty Center's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7. As for Cardinal Stritch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Liberty Center will head out to square off against Bryan at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal Stritch, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-27 defeat against North Central on the 20th.
