Cross Keys is a perfect 4-0 against Southwest DeKalb since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cross Keys Phoenix will look to defend their home pitch against the Southwest DeKalb Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Cross Keys' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Friday, Cross Keys didn't have quite enough to beat Tucker and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Southwest DeKalb kept a clean sheet against Lithonia on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Southwest DeKalb's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Cross Keys, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1.

Cross Keys took their win against Southwest DeKalb in their previous matchup back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 8-0. Will Cross Keys repeat their success, or does Southwest DeKalb have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
