Joe Mendez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 221 yards and one TD while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 103.4 rushing yards per game.

Pioneer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Devion Corley picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Another thorn in Rodriguez's side was Max Pineda, who made 13 total tackles.

Meanwhile, while Vanden put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Wood. The Vikings put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 26-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Vanden's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Pioneer, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-2.
