Baseball Recap: The Bay School Breakers vs. Lower Lake Trojans
There's no place like home for The Bay School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Lower Lake Trojans on Saturday. The Breakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.
Ansel Hermanos made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Hermanos wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Max Lee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
