South Salem entered their tilt with West Salem on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

Matheus Borges paced South Salem's offense, picking up six kills. Borges got some help from Connor Wolfgram and his 17 assists. Borges also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Tim Ganchenko, racking up three apiece.

South Salem pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for West Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

South Salem wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cascade on the 1st. As for West Salem, they will take on Ashland in a tournament on Saturday.
