Softball Recap: St. Michael Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

St. Michael entered their tilt with Thibodaux on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Tigers 15-5. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

Piper Jones and Natalie Rahm did most of the damage at the plate: Jones went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles, while Rahm went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Rahm is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Trahan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

St. Michael's record now sits at 6-1. As for Thibodaux, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Michael will host McKinley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thibodaux, they will be playing at home against Hahnville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thibodaux's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hahnville has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
