Baseball Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron's last matchup with Barron could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Comets lost 12-4 to the Golden Bears. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Golden Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ryker Ebert was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Michael Reynolds, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Barron, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2-1.

Coming up, Cameron will welcome Ladysmith at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets are facing the Lumberjacks at the right time seeing as the Lumberjacks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Barron, they will challenge Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Golden Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
