Holly Hill Academy took a hard 25-10 fall against Faith Christian on Monday. Holly Hill Academy's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Holly Hill Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Essie Wolpert, who scored seven points.
Holly Hill Academy dropped their record down to 3-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.7 points per game. As for Faith Christian, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11.
Holly Hill Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. John's Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Holly Hill Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Faith Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
