Holly Neher of Hollywood Hills (Fla.) made history Thursday.

The 5-foot-2 junior became the first female quarterback to throw a touchdown pass in state history, according to Larry Blustein of South Florida High School Sports.

Neher lofted a 45-yard TD strike to Alexander Shelton for the Spartans' only score in a 21-7 loss to Hallandale (Fla.). The memorable moment came on her first career pass, according to David Furones of the Sun Sentinel.

That's an impressive accomplishment for her first career varsity tackle football game.
