Baseball Recap: Chipley Comes Up Short

St. John Paul II hit Chipley with a four-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell 8-3 to the Panthers. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Blake Godwin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was his first of the season.
