Softball Recap: Chandler Prep Has No Trouble Against San Carlos

Chandler Prep picked up another tournament win on Thursday. Everything went their way against the San Carlos Braves as Chandler Prep made off with a 17-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Lucy Garner made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Kate W was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. Giada Lowman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI.

Chandler Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .541 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Chandler Prep's record is now 5-3. As for San Carlos, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Chandler Prep has already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Fort Thomas on the 21st. As for San Carlos, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 21-7 defeat against Pima on the 21st.
