Softball Recap: El Camino Takes a Loss

South San Francisco hit El Camino with a 14-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colts came up short against the Warriors, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 back in March.

El Camino saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patricia Vasquez, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for El Camino and nudges their season record down to 5-14. As for South San Francisco, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

As of now, neither El Camino nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
