Volleyball Recap: Daystar Academy Falls to Islamic Foundation in First Game of Season

Daystar Academy kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Islamic Foundation Chargers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-14.

Islamic Foundation has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Daystar Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Francis W. Parker on the 3rd. As for Islamic Foundation, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Unity Christian Academy on the 2nd.
