After a string of four wins, Lincoln-King Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were beaten by the Westfield Prep Warriors 75-9. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while the Warriors are ranked 147th).

Lincoln-King Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Westfield Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Lincoln-King Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westfield Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Scott at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
