Richlands barely beat East Duplin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 6-2 win on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Isaiah Betton as he scored four goals for his team.

Richlands has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Richlands will square off against Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Duplin, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Newton-Conover at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
