Volleyball Recap: Sequoyah's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Sequoyah lost against Alpharetta back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chiefs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Chiefs were not able to get on the board.

While Sequoyah had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sequoyah fell to 4-1. As for Alpharetta, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Sequoyah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lambert on the 14th. As for Alpharetta, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Cartersville on the 9th.
