Football Recap: St. John's Jesuit Titans vs. Anthony Wayne Generals

The Titans took a 28-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anthony Wayne Generals on Friday. The Titans lost against the Generals in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 34-0 score last time.
Leading Anthony Wayne to victory were Roman Morrison and Porter Brungard. Morrison gained 117 total yards and two touchdowns, while Brungard threw for 223 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 78.8% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Morrison a new career-high in rushing yards (95). Cameron Miller also helped with two scores in total.
St. John's Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Anthony Wayne, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
