Soccer Game Preview: Sam Houston vs. Bowie

The Sam Houston Texans will challenge the Bowie Volunteers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sam Houston's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Sam Houston is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering South Grand Prairie just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Texans happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 4th.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Bowie was forced to settle for a draw. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Grand Prairie.

Bowie's draw makes their record 3-4-1 this season. Meanwhile, Sam Houston's record is now 6-1-2.

Sam Houston beat Bowie 3-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Sam Houston repeat their success, or does Bowie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
