Soccer Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Duplin Panthers. While losing is never fun, South Lenoir can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 391st, while East Duplin are ranked 143rd).

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-2. As for East Duplin, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-2 record this season.
