Softball Recap: Fife Trojans vs. Washington Patriots
In what's become a running theme this season, Fife gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past the Washington Patriots 17-4. Winning may never get old, but Fife sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Mallory Geving was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Geving has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Geving was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
