Wadley had already won 14 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.1 points) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Horseshoe Bend Generals 58-10. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Generals are ranked 298th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wadley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Horseshoe Bend, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wadley and Horseshoe Bend will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will challenge rival Fayetteville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Horseshoe Bend is set to square off against their familiar foe Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
