Softball Recap: Plano West Comes Up Short

After flying high against Princeton last Friday, Plano West came back down to earth. The Wolves fell just short of the Prosper Eagles by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

Isabella Dunn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

The defeat snapped Plano West's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-9 record. As for Prosper, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Plano West nor Prosper have any future games scheduled.
