Soccer Recap: Denver East Starts Season with Victory Against Air Academy

Denver East gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Air Academy Kadets a 3-0 shutout. Harrison Augur had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Denver East got from the refs.

Air Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Denver East didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Rock Canyon on the 29th. As for Air Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against The Classical Academy on the 4th.
