Basketball Recap: Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. J.L. Mann Patriots
Boiling Springs and J.L. Mann squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Boiling Springs had to settle for second. They took a 68-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the J.L. Mann Patriots. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
Boiling Springs' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyvion Hall, who en route to 16 points. Thanks to that strong game, Hall now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. Reese Walter also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
