Baseball Recap: Smith Valley Falls Short of Indian Springs in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Smith Valley can now relate to. They lost 16-1 to the Indian Springs Thunderbirds on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Thursday.

Smith Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Gleason, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Smith Valley's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Indian Springs, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-5.

As of now, neither Smith Valley nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
