Baseball Recap: Iowa-Grant Comes Up Short

Iowa-Grant made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cuba City, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Cubans by a score of 7-5 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cubans: they've now lost five in a row.

Iowa-Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Cuba City, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

While Iowa-Grant had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
