Hale Ray strolled into their game  on Wednesday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Morgan Huskies as they made off with  a  23-3 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Noises also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2024.
 Lily Jahne made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  six  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Fenway Jankowski, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cate Tarnowski, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Hale Ray  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .725. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Hale Ray's victory was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-0. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 16.4 runs this season. As for Morgan,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
 Looking ahead, Hale Ray will square off against Middletown at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Morgan, they will face off against Old Lyme at 10:30  a.m.  on Saturday.
