Softball Recap: Hialeah-Miami Lakes Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westland Hialeah last Monday, Hialeah-Miami Lakes came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Goleman Gators on Thursday, falling 15-5. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gators earlier this season, when they won 16-6.

Mia Pichardo was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Goleman, their record is now 5-11.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes has already played their next match, a 21-3 victory against Dr. Krop on the 11th. As for Goleman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-9 loss against Mater Lakes Academy on the 11th.
