After a string of three wins, Esko's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pequot Lakes Patriots. The contest marked the Eskomos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Esko's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 22-8. As for Pequot Lakes, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-7.

Esko does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pequot Lakes, they will challenge Waseca on Tuesday. Waseca knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 33 matches -- so hopefully Pequot Lakes likes a good challenge.
