Basketball Game Preview: Ontario Christian Knights vs. Alta Loma Braves

The Ontario Christian Knights will face off against the Alta Loma Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Ontario Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Woodcrest Christian to the tune of 86-42 on Wednesday. With the Knights ahead 48-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Ontario Christian can attribute much of their success to Cole Jones, who went 9 for 15 en route to 21 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, and Mason Salazar, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 19 points and four steals. Jones' evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Neale, who went 5 for 8 en route to 12 points and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Alta Loma hadn't done well against San Dimas recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Alta Loma came out on top against San Dimas by a score of 65-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Ontario Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Alta Loma, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
