Seton Catholic dropped their record down to 12-5-2 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Valley Christian Trojans, falling 16-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Sentinels, who until this matchup were averaging 3.79 runs allowed.

As for Valley Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-2-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

For Valley Christian's part, Leigha Kremlacek was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Maddy Harmon also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Seton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-3 victory against Gilbert Christian on the 16th. As for Valley Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-1 win against Coolidge on the 17th.
