Softball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Waldron's offense. They came up short against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Sand Lizards: they've now lost five in a row.

Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Dardanelle, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Waldron will head out on the road to face off against Mena at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Dardanelle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
