Baseball Recap: Cypress Park Takes a Loss

Cypress Park fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Waller on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-7. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 4-0 in the first period.

Cypress Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Vizcaino, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Cypress Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Waller, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-17-1.

As of now, neither Cypress Park nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
