Basketball Recap: St. Croix Central Comes Up Short

St. Croix Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwestern Tigers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

St. Croix Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Northwestern, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

St. Croix Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-47 loss against Prescott on the 4th. Northwestern has also already played their next game, a 102-73 win against Hayward on the 4th.
