Recap: Fontainebleau Bulldogs vs. Northshore Panthers
The Fontainebleau Bulldogs came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Northshore by a score of 49-39. This was payback for Fontainebleau, who suffered a 43-33 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Fontainebleau's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabelle Chevalier, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Chevalier is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynne Callahan, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Fontainebleau has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which lines up perfectly with their 21-6 record this season. As for Northshore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-9.
Fontainebleau will head out on the road to square off against Mandeville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mandeville is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games. As for Northshore, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Salmen at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Salmen is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
