Polk County had won 11 straight games and Kylie Lewis did her part to make it 12 on Tuesday. The Polk County Wolverines claimed a resounding 70-30 win over the R-S Central Hilltoppers thanks in part to Lewis, who went 8-for-14 on her way to 18 points and eight rebounds. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Staton, who went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Despite the loss, R-S Central still got an impressive performance from Alena Jimerson, who posted 14 points. The dominant performance gave Jimerson a new career-high in points. Lai Flack was another key player, putting up eight points.

Polk County's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for R-S Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

Looking ahead, Polk County will be playing at home against Hendersonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hendersonville will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Polk County surely won't give up without a fight. R-S Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
