Lake Ridge entered their tilt with Hereford on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Whitefaces. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Whitefaces, too.

Brielle Smith paced Lake Ridge's offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Dawn Moore and her seven assists. Zoe Patteson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lake Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hereford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
